Abstract
Traffic accidents at intersections are influenced by several factors including roads, driver and vehicle behavior. Of the three have an important role in the occurrence of a traffic accident. The purpose of this study was to determine the presence or absence of roads, the behavior of drivers and vehicles towards traffic accidents. In this study, the first research population was residents of Brebes and surrounding districts at the intersection, the second was drivers who had a driver's license by taking incidental sampling system with a total of 100 respondents (samples). The variables in this study consist of: Road Variable (X.1), Driver Behavior (X.2) and Vehicle (X.3) and the dependent variable is Traffic Accident (Y). The data collection method used is the questionnaire method. The results of the analysis with the statistical tool SPSS V.26 program obtained multiple linear regression equation Y = 0.395 + 0.368X1 + 0.295X2 + 0.324X3 + . The results of the multiple linear equations show that there is a positive and significant influence between roads on traffic accidents (t count 3.418 > t table of 1.98498), driver behavior towards traffic accidents (t count 3.325 > t table of 1.98498) and vehicles on traffic accidents (t count 4.207 > t table 1.98498), individually the road, driver and vehicle behavior have an effect on traffic accidents. The influence of the three research variables is very strong with the coefficient value (R Square) obtained by 52.8% on traffic accidents and 47.2% is influenced by variables that are not detected in this study.
