Abstract
The purpose of this final assignment is to obtain a deeper picture and understanding of the handling of export document PT.Cahaya Timur Garmindo by the Marine Freight Expedition (EMKL) of PT. New River Logistic Semarang method used in writing this final assignment is a descriptive analysis method, which is the data described or verbally explained. The data used in this final assignment are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was collected through direct interviews with PT. New River Logistic Semarang, while secondary data was obtained from books and other reading sources related to the subject matter of the discussion taken.The written work can be concluded that the handling of export document PT.Cahaya Timur Garmindo by the Marine freight Expedition (EMKL) PT. New River Logistic Semarang starts from the Shipping instruction issuance System, followed by booking space, stuffing, document handling and ends with the submission of documents to exporters. For documents that are used include: shipping instruction, Booking confirmation, Packing List, Invoice, Export Service Note (NPE), Export Declaration (PEB), Bill Of Lading (B/L), Certificate of Origin or Certificate of Origin While for related parties include: Shipload Expedition (EMKL), Exporter, Shipping Line, Customs and Excise, Office of Industry and Trade, Suggestions that can be given by the author is to improve the company's facilities and infrastructure in order to increase company performance.
