Abstract
"POLLUTION PREVENTION FROM KK SHIP. MULIA07 AS A SEA ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVATION EFFORTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH MARINE POLLUTION AND ENVIRONMENTAL AWERENESS. " In accordance with MARPOL 1973/1978 where all ships were obliged to carry out the handling of pollution prevention caused by ships, it was necessary to review all matters relating to the plan to deal with the sea pollution emergency. The role of the procedure, crew and equipment needs to be reviewed in connection with the state of marine pollution in operations often occurring on board. The causes of marine pollution also need to be studied for evaluation and improvement, then where the ship's operations must continue without pollution. Here the role of the crew is very large considering the crew is the operator. In the theoretical basis, the author explained the matters related to pollution problems and how the prevention and handling procedures are on board. Matters that explain the process and method of the thesis are made in the research methodology. In analyzing the data and the results of the study, the authors present the general description of the object of the research and the process of preventing sea pollution in the ship in accordance with the observations and interviews with the parties involved in the field. Then we compare it with the procedure. Finally, the author can draw conclusions from the elements in mitigating sea pollution. Keywords : Ship’s Operational, Ocean Pollution, Pollution Handling.
