Abstract

The main discussion in writing this paper is about handling the import of HFM (Hydrolized Feather Meal) by PT. Berlian Transtar Abadi Logistics Surabaya. There are several background problems that must be solved by the author, namely the handling of imports at the time of animal feed, the documents needed at the time of handling, the relevant agencies, as well as the obstacles that occur when handling the import of animal feed. PT. Berlian Transtar Abadi is a Marine Freight Forwarding company (EMKL)\(PPJK) Cutoms Service Management Company that serves import and export activities of various commodities. The activity starts from receiving import documents from the importer to the goods leaving the port to the importer's warehouse. The purpose of writing this paper is to find out the handling of animal feed imports, the documents needed, the relevant agencies at the time of handling and the obstacles that occur during the handling of imports. The method used by the author to make the paper is field research methods, namely observation techniques, interviews and library methods. The results of this paper are to determine the aspects of handling HFM (Hydrolyzed Feather Meal) animal feed in the EMKL company PT. Diamond Transtar Abadi Surabaya.
