Abstract
Weather where the air condition at a certain time and in a certain area which is relatively narrow (not broad) and for a short period of time. Or the definition of daily weather conditions in a certain place and including a narrow area, these weather conditions can change every day. Or another definition of weather, namely a condition of the average daily air in a certain place & including a narrow area in a short period of time. Weather conditions change easily-because they are caused by air pressure, temperature, wind, humidity, and also rainfall Many factors can cause accidents when a ship sails at sea. Apart from human error factors, natural factors will also be very influential in its continuity due to activities in Indonesia. This natural factor is the weather conditions on the shipping lane that the ship passes. Therefore, information about weather forecasts is very important in this activity. In essence, the main function of weather information for shipping is to provide directions to the way so that the ship can sail safely, comfortably and safely to its destination at the right time. The most feared bad weather is in the waters of the sea waves that are too high. The sea wave itself is the movement of rising and falling sea air in a straight direction on the sea surface forming a sinusoidal curve / graph. Ocean waves can arise because they have a generating force. The main generating force of the sea waves is the wind and the influence of the wind on shipping.
