Abstract
The National SAR Agency (Basarnas) is a non-ministerial government agency that carries out government tasks in the search and rescue sector. This research was conducted at the Semarang National Search and Relief Agency and at the KN. SAR Sadewa 231 which is located at the port of Tanjung Emas Semarang. It is motivated by various factors, especially working in work accidents on board that can lead to Man Over Board. This is because many workers do not comply with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Every hazardous job has procedures that are systematically arranged, and can be said to be well planned. By using qualitative methods and observing observational data, interviews or library research that the authors collect, it can be revealed that when the crew is handling the Man Over Board, they must complete personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect themselves in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and provide victim assistance.
