Abstract

The development of the maritime world is increasingly rapid over time and the needs of sea transportation, and also the provisions or regulations in the maritime world are increasingly being improved, especially in terms of docking, ship maintenance and sea transportation needs. Therefore, PT Janata Marina Indah plays an important role in the process for the progress of the national shipyard, in that role PT Janata Marina Indah has work services in the form of docking, maintenance and construction of new vessels for all types and sizes. This paper aims to determine the ship docking process at PT Janata Marina Semarang. The method I use is the method of field research that directly observes and interviews, and uses the method of literature study. The results of a paper entitled Optimizing the Ship Docking Process at PT Janata Marina Indah Semarang shows that this company has an important role in the national, regional and global shipping industry.
