Abstract
Implementation Of Work Safety To Prevent Work Accident During Ship To Ship Process Mv. Istorya With Bg. Viber 1 Lasts The role in the use of safety equipment is one of the efforts to prevent or reduce the occurrence of accidents at work. Therefore, it is expected that all crew or crew who work on the ship to always use safety tools at work on the deck or in the engine room in order to avoid things that do not want to happen like an accident. The purpose of this study is to determine the cause of work accident on board. This research was conducted in MV. ISTORYA. Sources of data obtained are primary data obtained directly from the place of research by way of direct observation and question and answer with officers and crew especially deck, and literature review and literature-related research literature. The method of data processing used is descriptive method, the author tries to observe cases that often occur on the ship in connection with the lack of discipline of the crew Ship, then make important notes about the causes and solutions that will be used to improve discipline of crew Ships while doing the work. The results obtained from this study indicate that the occurrence of work accidents on the ship due to the lack of discipline of the crew on the importance of the use of safety tools while doing a job.
