Abstract
Cooling is a heat transfer process carried out so that there is a decrease of environmental temperature and maintain that temperature during the desired time There are several cooling systems that are used, but the vapor compression refrigeration system is cooling a commonly used because it is easy to implement and easy to analyze its effectiveness. This system consists of a compressor, expansion valve, condenser and evaporator. Working fluid used in the cooling process referred to as a refrigerant. To optimize the working system of Air Conditioner (AC) then done maintenance, chek and repair to evaluate the location of the source of the problem, design and install some equipment and instruments in order to get better system performance or performance. The theoretical and practical approach is done to examine and solve the problem, and it is able to produce better performance than before.
