Abstract

Incinerator is auxiliary engine used for burn waste oil and gerbage solid and all of type gerbage easy for burn. The purpose of this writing is to find out the cause of combustion failures in the incinerator and to know the impact inflicted on the inoptimal work of incinerator and its operationation. Therefore, the method of data collection used by the author in presenting problems in this way is to produce quantitative data to describe and outline the written object, with the data collection techniques based on the results The questionnaire to the crew of the machine on board, the library method used by the authors to obtain the auxiliary incinerator specification. USG (Urgency, Seriousness, Growth) is one way in the first step of problem solving. Decreased performance that has a high impact on the auxiliary incinerator is lacking its temperature of waste oil, the nozzle is contributed by the used carbon from the combustion, dirty sieve state, and the failure of flame reading. Factor of the problem will cause some impact that is causing waste oil that will result in the desired combustion is not perfect, combustion result decreases, the operation of the ship will be interrupted. To mitigate the decrease in the work of an auxiliary incinerator, it must perform the operation and maintenance of an auxiliary incinerator in accordance with the procedure. Keywords: Incinerator, failure of burning, impact of failure.
