Abstract
Procedure for Arrival and Departure of Ships at Tanjung Perak Port, Surabaya Indonesia is a country known as a maritime country with a large part of its territory consisting of waters and consisting of islands. Therefore sea transportation facilities are very important to connect islands scattered throughout Indonesia. One means of sea transportation is ships. Tanjung Perak Harbor is a port located in Surabaya, East Java. Administratively, the port of Tanjung Perak is included in Perak Timur Village, Pabean Cantikan District, Surabaya City. In this port there is also a container terminal. Tanjung Perak is the second largest and busiest port in Indonesia after the Port of Tanjung Priok and also as a trade center to the eastern part of Indonesia. The purpose of this paper is to know the system and procedures for handling the arrival and departure of ships at the Port of Tanjung Perak Surabaya. The theoretical foundation used by the authors in this observation is books, the internet, and other sources. The type of observation used by the author is the Observation Method and Observation Method. The results obtained from this paper that the Procedure for Arrival and Departure of Ships at the Port of Tanjung Perak Surabaya is a system and procedure for handling ship arrivals and departures starting when the ship arrives (Clearance in) starting from preparation to implementation, before the ship departs (Clearance out) starts from preparation to implementation. Making reports after the ship departs and documents needed when handling the arrival and departure of the ship and related services during the activities at the port.
