Abstract
Operation and Maintenance System of Provision Plant at Ship MT.Sele/P.3006 PT. Pertamina Shipping Jakarta Engine cooling (Provision Plant) is a series one of auxiliary engine capable of working to produce a temperature or cold temperature (low temperature). The principle of cooling air that is mostly used is "Compression System". The compression can be generated by the compressor machine. Refrigerant (Instrument of Conditioning) on the compression system works on two element its namely liquid and vapor. Refrigrant being vapoured then condensed, while compression occur in vapor phase, so that the system is called "Vapor Compression System". To obtain the necessary evaporation of gas (air) reaches a certain temperature (heat). After the hot air was changed so that heat loss, resulting in evaporation. When the evaporation, there arises a temperature in the low temperature (cold). Key Words : Auxiliry Machinery, Provision Plant, Principle Operation
