Abstract
Occupational safety and health are two things that are related in the world of work and are a top priority for seafarers when working on ships. Work fulfills eligibility for humanity if the safety of its workforce is guaranteed. Workforce protection covers a wide range of aspects, namely protection of health and safety. The protection is intended so that workers safely carry out their daily work. The ship's safety standards have stricter regulations than the ground standards. One of the objectives of the maintenance management program is to create working conditions in a safe engine room for all subordinates (ABK) of the machine on how to maintain the engine room including floors, workshop rooms, pipe installation and how to use work safety equipment in accordance with its function.
