Abstract
HOW TO WORK AND MAINTENANCE INTERLOCK SYSTEM SAFETY DEVICE ON MAIN ENGINE IN MT.BERKAT ANUGERAH 03 PT. PELAYARAN SUMBER REJEKI BAHARI PERMAI JAKARTA Interlock System Safety Device Is a method to prevent unwanted keaadaan on the machine to play the parent does not happen damage.The interlock system is created using a Programmable logic controller (PLC). Programs are created with certain software which is then integrated into PLC.Automatic control as controllers and final control elements are tools that are added to the control system so as to reduce or eliminate human intervention in the control process. In the automatic control system to maintain the reliability and security of the operation must be equipped with a switch to switch to the control system manually in case of failure in the automatic control system. In addition, before an automated control system is initiated it must be ensured that control of the equipment manually is as good as automatically. In an automated control system, a control system can be coupled to the other by means of cascade and connected to an interlock / shutdown device system that can stop operation. The interlock system can guarantee safe operation of the equipment shutdown procedure. Once the importance of the role of Interlock System Safety Device on board, then the need for checks and maintenance for performance remains maximal. Conducted maintenance on electronic components and check the smoothness of the valve fuel oil safety device, maintenance of these components are done during maintenance, checking the lube oil pump alarm must be done to determine the low pressureoilinthecylinder. After doing the treatment periodically, it will be detected anything that be the result of treatment. From these results are expected to be perfect performance of the main engine and oftimal, then the ship will sail with nornal and not afraid of any damage in the event of trouble.
