Abstract
Operation System and Maintenance Controllable Pitch Propeller to Maintain Safety of Motion at Motor Tanker Mitra Kemakmuran In some propeller units there are different types and modes of operation of the propeller system, such as the Controllable Pitch Propeller which is a propeller that can change / adjust the propeller pitch. Controllable Pitch Propeler is a type of propeller whose system can be adjusted as desired and makes it easier to move the ship. Propellers with small leaf corners will move the vessel forward with little distance at each turn (the ship moves forward slowly). Operation and maintenance of appropriate procedures in Controllable Pitch Propeller can prevent damage to utanmic components and auxiliary components. CPP system of better know Controllable Pitch Propeller also require special care and supervision because the material used and the price off CPP components is more expansive then the usual type of propeller.
