Abstract
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF GENERATOR IN KN. KUMBA DISTRIK NAVIGASI KELAS II SEMARANG Operation The generator to be performed is to check the lubrication system, cooling system, fuel system, electrical system and control system, initial drive / start system inspection, air filter, turbo charger, and clutch check. Operation mode run diesel generator motor should not be directly loaded, but by way of run with low rotation for initial heating about 10 minutes, then given the burden. Turning off the Generator, first load it off through the panel located in the Engine Control Room, and lower the rotation (RPM) slowly, then let it run for about 5 minutes, wait for the exhaust gas temperature to drop. After that just then turned off. Treatment The maintenance generators that must be performed on diesel motors include maintenance / replacement of lubricants, cooling water systems, fuel systems, valve adjustments, walker air systems, major electrical panel maintenance, power plants, automatic circuit breakers (ACBs).
