Abstract
Maintenance Accumulator as a Component Main Starting Emergency Genenerator On the ship, Kasih Setia–A PT.Lautan Kumala Accumulator is an electro-chemical device that is made to supply electricity to the starter system, ignition system, lights and other electrical components. The use of batteries at this time is very broad, not only used in motorized vehicles as a source of electricity, but is also widely used as electricity storage in solar cells and others so that electricity supply is always continuous. Many accumulator problems such as: lack of maintenance of accumulators on board. The purpose of writing this paper is to find out the power and voltage generated by the accumulator on the electricity on board. In this case it can be concluded that the cause of the weakness of the accumulator occurs because the lack of maintenance in the battery components is one of them in the power and specific gravity.
