Abstract
Operation, Repair, and Treatment of Steam Boilers In the steam power plant in Batang At PT. Tera Logistic Indonesia Steam boilers are a complex combination of evaporators, advanced heating (superheater), economical heaters and air heaters. Evaporation pipes (evapurator) and advanced heating (superheater) get heat directly from the combustion process of fuel, while economizers and air heaters get heat from the remaining gas from combustion before being discharged into the atmosphere. Pressure vessels on the kettle generally use steel materials with certain specifications that have been determined in standard. As a result of the lack of handling of the kettle feed water, it will cause damage to the boiler, it can be a crust on the steam boiler pipe that clogs the water inside the kettle and blockage of dirt in the burner results in imperfect fuel blasting. Painting on the combustion wall and boiler pipe to prevent corrosion, and giving chemical fluids into the boiler to reduce the scale in the pipe. The fuel must pass through the filter, so that the dirt in the fuel can be separated, and the dirt on the burner covers the hole in the burner and needs to be repaired on the burner, and cleaned from dirt that clogs the burner hole.
