Abstract
Procedure Document Import Activity Umbrella PT. Manunggal Punduh Sakti by Expedition Cargo Ship PT. Dinamika Expresindo In the purpose of this thesis is to obtain a picture and understanding of the procedure of import umbrella documents owned by PT. Manunggal Punduh Sakti conducted by Marine Cargo Expedition (EMKL) PT. Expressindo Dinamika. There are several background issues that must be solved by the author that is the procedure of importing umbrella processing, the types of documents required in the import umbrella, the procedure of outline of import umbrella document import, the constraints occurring at the time of handling import umbrella, importer support group related to document service import umbrella. Based on data collection conducted during practice land (Prada), the author uses several methods of interviews, observation, document studies, and focus group discussions as well as the source and type of data. The result of the discussion of this paper is about the import document procedure is the most important stage, without complete and correct document in accordance with the import procedure requirements. An importer will not be able to remove his goods from the customs area. The most frequent constraints are due to delays in documents provided by importers, changes in the rupiah exchange rate, as well as problems from customs authorities who experienced errors and resulted in delays in PIB response expenditure. Suggestions that writers can give is the improvement of facilities and infrastructure companies in order to improve company performance.
