Abstract
In connection with the increasing number of incoming flow of goods in the port area everyone State of Indonesian, it is thus automatically will be the more ships that operate in the port State Indonesia. This has a negative side for shipping companies because not all shipping line has branches in each port in Indonesian. Shipping agentcy have a duty and responsibility to provide services to the needs of their ships apply as agent, therefore the shipping agent company should establish good relationships with the agencies concerned, to facilitate the execution of its duties and responsibilities. In the daily activities of PT. Pertamina Trans Kontinental Batam branch should improve services so well that the service user is satisfied and does not switch to another company and expand the development of network marketing to increase business. The need for additional human resources (HR) at the new operation in the handling of ship agency that process of current effectively and efficiently. Key words : Shipping Agentcy.
