Abstract

The main activities in a port can not be separated from the service. In this case, PT. Siam Maspion Terminal is one of the service providers. In here will be a process of service to a ship on the jetty and other activities in the area of port. The main topic of this paper is to explain the process of ship service activities at the port of PT. Siam Maspion Terminal. Many things must be considered in doing the ship service on the jetty, one of which is the supervision of activities in the port area. In addition, to meet this services there are facilities to support these services. One of which science in shipping at maritime schools is ship service activities at the harbour. Port service providers are needed in this case. All of activities and service processes are need a place as a plot for implementation, special authority from the Jetty Master, operational workman, and other of mechanism and facilities.
