Abstract
The loading and unloading company (PBM) is a legal entity specially established to organize and cultivate loading and unloading activities from or to the vessel, the loading and unloading Company may undertake the business of loading and unloading goods from and to the vessels for both national vessels and foreign ships in Agency by sea transport company Prior to loading and unloading activities, loading and unloading companies will undertake document management for loading and unloading activities to run smoothly, as for the necessary documents before loading and unloading activities such as work order, manifest, bill of lading. To prepare the plan of dismantling activities of the loading and unloading company to conduct a meeting operation plan attended by the parties involved in loading and unloading activities, such as the goods owner, shipping company, EMKL, to discuss the draft estimates, and enter the sift, the amount of goods to be dismantled, use of tools, and how fleet preparedness. In the unloading activities scrap steel equipment needed is gantry luffing crane (GLC), excavator, dump truck. Barriers that occur during the activities of steel scrap, weather, dock, labor delay (TKBM), and the occurrence of damage to the tools used in dismantling activities. The author also uses a type of qualitative research methods by means of data collection using interview techniques, observation, documentation and literature study. The results of the observations that the author did was to know the loading and unloading procedures that exist, the parties involved to the obstacles that arise during the process of dismantling and loading.
