Abstract
Recruitment is the process of human resources, placement, and establishing a number of internal and external sources as candidates for labor with certain characteristics as defined in human resource planning especially for ship crews. To get strong seafarer who competence in accordance with the existing standard of manning in the company, then the selection process is so tight. That is administrative selection, selection of competence based on computer, interview selection, technical interview, personality interview, and checking and validation of documents done by direct syahbandar party, so it is not possible to cheat in the process of recruitment of ship crew. Based on these facts, the results obtained are the fulfillment of master (and other crew) who competence in accordance with the existing company in order to work by standards according to the position and expertise.
