Abstract

Web-based applications are applications that have acces from web browser or internet network. It also software to support business at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero). althougt to oprate this aplications is very easy, but it also have weakness like we have a good signal to acces this aplication because without a good signal we can not use this aplication. in order to collecting data writer use descriptive research. Descriptive research, does not fit neatly into the definition of either quantitative or qualitative research methodologies, but instead it can utilize elements of both, often within the same study. The term descriptive research refers to the type of research question, design, and data analysis that will be applied to a given topic. Besaide descriptive reaserchwriter use 5 methods: observatin method, question method, interview method documentation method, and literature study method. From the results writer haveconcluded that, the application useat PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) Branch Tanjung Intan Cilacap in supporting ship service is divided into three IBS, INCO, VASA. IBS is a portal for service users, INCO and VASA are portals for Pelindo officers after receiving ship service requests from services via the IBS portal.
