Abstract
This paper is structured to know the ship agency services in the management of clearance out TB. ETI 307 BG. ETI 3603 by PT. Energy Transporter Indonesia. PT. Energy Transporter Indonesia is a shipping company engaged in ship agent and coal transportation. Ship agency service process at PT. Energy Transporter Indonesia starts from the plot of the boat, the process of loading coal in the jetty and until the ship leaves the port of Miratama Perkasa Asam - Asam. Information technology is needed for ship service agency activities can be presented quickly, precisely and easily. To achieve the above objectives then the authors use several methods of data collection that is observation, interview and documentation, as well as sources and types of data. Agency services in the clearance process of the agent make or prepare the necessary requirements during the clearance process such as making an application to syabandar and quarantine, after that the agent clearances out to syabandar and quarantine by bringing the request. The syabandar party will issue a sailing approval letter and quarantine will issue a quarantine sailing license. At the time of clearance out activities are not all running smoothly, there are obstacles - constraints that inhibit the clearance process such as the terselipnya ship documents and bad weather. So the process of clearance out will be hampered, for that the agent in overcoming these obstacles check the completeness of the vessel document first so as not to impede the process of clearance out the vessel. So even with bad weather conditions the agent must be active in finding information to syahbandar to know the weather conditions, so that in the activities and management of ship clearance out is not hampered and the departure of the ship in accordance with the planned.
