Abstract
Writing is structured to know the process of loading and unloading of containers on MV. PACAO and constraints that arise based on the analysis and the method performed on PT.Multiline Shipping Company Tanjung Priok in Jakarta. From the above data collection methods in the process of loading and unloading of container starts with good planning includes the number of containers to be unloaded or loaded, the type of cargo being transported, the weight of traffic carried and the port of destination. Thus, the container handling process can proceed smoothly because preparation equipment, stacking depot location is planned so well during the unloading of containers in the hold been planned well hold positions which should be placed so that there will be no shifting of containers at the port of destination of the container (container) is one package that is designed specifically with a certain size, can be used repeatedly, used to store and can also transport cargo that is therein. .Keywords : Vessel,stevedoring,container
