Abstract

The main discussion on this paper is explain about tobacco export process in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara X Jember. Tobacco export intensity in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara X is always running well because there are so much buyer in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara X. Long tobacco production process and some special export documents for tobacco make this export handling different with other export. This paper is made to know how the tobacco export process is, started from marketing process, preparation of tobacco, and tobacco export documents handling. In this research, author directly handle export to Camtek to know the export steps in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara X. Observation method is supported by literatures and documentation of the process. In this 18.000 Kgs tobacco export, Camtek is an international tobacco’s broker asked to make shipment destinied Springfield, USA. FOB system is used and documents to be sent directly to the real buyer, except the invoice. Tobacco can be shipped after having fumigated and get Phytosanitary Certificated.
