Abstract

Employee Performance is influenced by several factors including Competence, Level of Education and Leadership Style. Of the three, it has an important role in improving performance with satisfactory results. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was influence of Competence, Level of Education and Leadership Style on the Performance of Employees of Semarang City Transportation Office Offices. In this study the population of the study were employees of the Semarang City Office of Transportation with sampling systems with 70 respondents (samples). Variables in the study consisted of: Competent independent variables (X.1), Education Level (X.2), and Leadership Style (X.3) and bound variables namely Employee Performance (Y). Data collection method used is by questionnaire method. The results of the analysis with the SPSS V.24 program statistics tool obtained a multiple linear regression equation Y = 0.142 + 0.389X1 + 0.186X2 + 0.410X3 + µ. The results of multiple linear equations show that there is a positive and significant influence between Competence on employee performance (t count 4.952> t table of 1.66792), Education Level on employee performance (t count 2.228> t table of 1.66792), leadership style employee performance (t count 4.933> table of 1.66792), individually competency, education level and leadership style influence employee performance. The influence of the three research variables is very strong with the coefficient (Adjusted R Square) obtained by 61.0% on employee performance and 39% influenced by variables not detected in this study.
