Abstract
System aims to provide smoothness and simplify the process of exchanging information and data to the parties involved who will carry out ship agency activities. For the general public, this seems simple because there are still many ports from outside that have not used inaportnet but rather manual methods so that there needs to be education about a system that will later be applied in all ports in Indonesia. The purpose of this paper is to explain ship agency handling at PT. Pertamina Trans KontinentalTanjungPeriok. In collecting data the author uses descriptive research. Descriptive research is research that is intended to gather information about the status of a symptom that exists, namely the state of symptoms according to what they were at the time the research was conducted. In practice, the author uses four question methods, observation methods, interview methods, library methods, and documentation methods. From the results of the observation the author concluded that the handling of the ship's Cartagena in PT. Pertamina Trans KontinentalTanjungPriok is divided into several parts, namely requests from shipping companies that represent ship owners, checking ship documents that apply for permits (in / out clearance) and payment for services, PNBP, and others.
