Abstract
The main discussion in writing this paper is about the role of agency PT. Pertamina Trans Kontinental in arranging permission for administration of clearance in and out of MT. Transko Taurus in the Tanjung Priok main class port area. There are several background problems that must be solved in this paper, namely the role of agency PT. Pertamina Trans Kontinental in arranging permission for administration of clearance in and out of MT. Transko Taurus in the port area of the main class of Tanjung Priok, knows the parties involved in managing the document, knows the documents needed in inputting data in the Inaportnet system. Shipping Company PT. Pertamina Trans Kontinental is one of the companies engaged in the shipping sector in Jakarta. Shipping Company PT. Pertamina Trans Kontinental is tasked to assist in the process of running ship activities, one of which is to become an agent for ships. In becoming a ship agent, Shipping Company PT. Pertamina Trans Kontinental to administer the administrative licensing process using the inaportnet system in its activities. The existence of this internetnet system makes it easier for shipping companies to become agents because agents do not always have to be in the portals to carry out system clearance of ships. Based on terrestrial practice (PRADA) the author uses several methods including methods of observation, interviews, and document analysis, the results obtained are: Agency Role of PT. Pertamina Trans Kontinental in Management of In and Out Clearance Administration Permit MT. Transko Taurus in the Tanjung Priok Main Class Port Area will run smoothly.
