Abstract
In connection with the increasing development in the world of tourism and tourist visits to tourism areas, making the regions of Indonesia which have various islands and destinations visited by many tourists make the development flow faster and faster. Therefore, to reach an island or destination that is still minimal from tourist attractions makes more foreign ships operate and enter the tourism area. Therefore, with the existence of services and the applicable laws regarding incoming tourist vessels (yachts) as well as passenger vessels, will simplify the service and the attendees of foreign ships entering. For this reason, shipping agents who have the duty and responsibility to represent and provide services to ships that will enter,and with for the existence of online- based applications namely YachTers, by filling in the vessel data before Pre-Arrival on the vessel, it simplifies the performance of agent, therefore shipping agents must have good relations with relevant agencies in the management of documents to make it easier and less consuming for a long time. The method carried out by the author in data collection uses several methods, namely the method of observation, interviews and other types of data and to find out specific documents for tourist vessel yachts because they have differences in handling private and passenger vessels. In its activities, PT. Tirta Bintan Abadi as a shipping company that operates a tourist vessel (yacht) must have operational staff that are fluent in foreign languages because tourist vessel (yachts) are on average coming from outside Indonesia.
