Abstract

In this paper, it aims to find know everything related to passenger and vehicle service procedures from pre-departure to the port destination, in this paper also aims to determine passenger and vehicle services by ferry service companies. Which in its implementation requires rules that function to improve quality and ensure effective and efficient service provision, it is necessary to formulate and implement Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in the implementation of its duties and functions, so that it requires participation from all parties involved, because they most know the conditions in the field and they will be directly affected by the implementation of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), the Standar Operating Prosedure made must be in accordance with the conditions under which the SOP is implemented. Based on data collection carried out during terrestrial practice (PRADA) the author uses several methods including methods of observation, interviews, study documents and literature studies conducted by the author based on the results of terrestrial practices in the company PT. Dharma Lautan Utama in which there is a discussion about passenger and vehicle service procedures by PT. Dharma Lautan Utama. Based on the results of this paper, it shows that the role of ferry service companies is very important to handle passenger and vehicle services.
