Abstract
This study was created to describe the Shipping Company. PT. Serasi Shipping Indonesia is a shipping company engaged on ships agency duty to provide ship and cargo services, ship service operational process by PT. Serasi Shipping Indonesia starts from the plot of the boat, the process of loading and unloading activities from the ship and until the ship left the port. Coordination of confirmation is very needed so that the activities of ship service and cargo can be served with full of responsibility and carefully. PT. Serasi Shipping Indonesia also has established procedures for ship and cargo services so that the ship's services can be well executed and errors can be minimized, both in the manufacture of documents and cargo services. The system of ship service process and cargo at PT. Serasi Shipping Indonesia starts from the ship arriving at the port. Then do the clearance process submitted to Harbour Master and Pelindo for the determination of the place of dock and the application of scouting services in Pelindo. The last ship service is making clearance out that submitted to Harbour Master for departure of the ship. Ship service like document ship, ship crew, and ship needs during the dock. Cargo service like unloading service and inform the owner of goods that aims to ship service process and cargo can run smoothly, quickly and safely.
