Abstract

Writing this final project aims to get a deeper picture and understanding of the payment system applied by PT. Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk. In import activities using methods of payment of letters of credit and telegraphic transfers. By collecting data described and discussed at the time of research activities, these data are obtained directly from observations and direct interviews with parties directly at the scene of the incident and to parties who are thought to discuss the subject matter being asked, and the data obtained from library sources consists of modules, books, literature or other sources that can be accessed online. Based on the results of the activity can conclude the payment method used by. Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk uses the method of letter of credit and telegraphic transfer. Barriers that are often encountered in the credit letter method are errors in the matter of the name of the item, per-item unit prices and also document delays that usually occur are items that arrive at the port but the documents have not yet been received, so the company can make a Letter Of Indemnity and taken to the warehouse.
