Abstract
Procedure and Mechanism of vessel inspection by Marine Inspector at the Office of Kesyahbandaran and Port Authority of Class II of Palembang. All vessel berthing at port will be inspected, the party conducting the inspection of the ship is Marine Inspector who is an official of the KSOP. The inspection of the vessel aims to find out whether the ship is seaworthy and if it is a marine will be ded are the vessel seaworthyness certificate, and for non-marine vessels it shall not be allowed to sail before fulfilling the ship's seaworthy requirements. Marine Inspector conduct ship inspection in accordance with rules and procedures that have been established and do not conduct inspection ship outside of the rules that have been set. The purpose of this studi to know the Procedure and Mechanism of inspection of vessel by Marine Inspector At the Office Kesyahbandaran and Port Authority Class II Palembang. Data collection methods used research in this study were Method of Field Research and Methods of Study Library. The results of this study tha the Procedure and Mechanism of inspection of vessel by Marine Inspector at the Office of Kesyahbandaran and Port Authority of Class II Palembang run well and conducted in accordance with the procedure.
