Abstract
The main discussion in writing this paper is about the system of order tugs as a tool and infrastructure for guidance by PT. Pelindo Marine Service in the Pelindo III area. There are several background problems that must be resolved in this paper, namely the agencies involved in the tugboat order system, how to order tugboat systems, and the obstacles / problems faced in the ship tug assist. The company is engaged in providing a fleet of tugboats and tugboats that assist in the process of scouting and tug assist in the Pelindo III region. The purpose of writing this paper is none other than to find out the agencies involved in the tugboat order system, how to order tugboat systems, and the obstacles / problems faced in the service of tug assist. Based on data collection carried out during terrestrial practice (PRADA) the author uses several methods including the method of observation, interviews, and document analysis, it is obtained that the role of the system in tug assist of the vessel will run smoothly if the parties related to the waiter delay the ship working together and the system used for delays services can be maximized, the tugboat fleet is qualified so that the ship's delay service services run well.
