Abstract

The subject of this paper is about handling import documents at PT. Multi Terminal Indonesia Surabaya Branch. There are several background issues that should be the author of the completion of the required documents, the relevant agencies, constraints faced in import activities. PT Multi Terminal Indonesia is one of subsidiaries of PT Multi Terminal Indonesia (IPC) Surabaya branch of one of the companies engaged in the field of Import Export services, service logistics services served in PT Multi Terminal Indonesia Surabaya Branch such as InternationalDomestic, Freight Forwading , Customs Clearns, Warehouse, Distribution, OpenStrorange, Land Trasnportation, Railwaystatio Posaso, Project cargo, as well as freight services by sea, land and air. The purpose of writing this paper is none other than to know how the process of import activities, documents and any agency related to the impor.Berdasarkan conducted during practice land (PRADA), the author uses several methods of data collection that is, survey, questionnaire, observation, interview and document analysis as well as the source and type of data tersebut.Hasil discussion of this paper is a procedure document import of vitamins and Mineral Premix made by shipping expedition Ship (EMKL) PT. Multi Terminal Indonesia Surabaya Branch (IPC Logistic) will run smoothly without any hindrance if each party (exporter-importer) can fulfill the agreed requirements procedure.
