Abstract

This paper was prepared with the aim of knowing the implementation of the Safe Manning Certificate in the Directorate of Shipping and Maritime Affairs, Directorate General of Sea Transportation (Ministry of Transportation) to a company in order to make this Escort Certificate for ships that the company has with regulatory provisions applicable. To achieve the above goals, the authors use several methods of data collection, namely observation, analysis methods, and documentation methods, as well as the sources and types of data. The procedure for Safe Manning services at the Directorate General of Sea Transportation of the Maritime Affairs Sub-Department (Ministry of Transportation) starting from the submission, fulfillment of the terms and conditions is the absolute thing that must be fulfilled by each related party.
