Abstract
PT. Serasi Shipping Indonesia Sangatta Branch is a shipping company engaged in ship agency. Ship agency service process at PT. Serasi Shipping Indonesia starts from the dock, and carries out coal loading activities until the ship completes loading activities and leaves the port. Ship agency service process at PT. Serasi Shipping Indonesia covers ship clearance in and clearance out. Starting from the anchorage at the port, then making a clearance in which is submitted to Harbour Master and Pelindo IV for determining the location of the berth and the request for scouting services at Pelindo IV. The last ship service is a clearance out which is submitted to the Harbour Master to obtain a Sail Approval Letter as a condition for the departure of the ship to the next port. Agency services also provide management of crew documents and ship requirements during the coal loading process. In order for the ship agency service process to run smoothly, quickly and safely, PT. Serasi Shipping Indonesia further enhances the facilities and infrastructure needed, and further disciplines employees who carry out activities on board or in the field to be more vigilant and prioritize work safety and security.
