Abstract

the background of the problem that must be resolved in this paper is the steps for making an Arrival and Departure Report letter, what documents are needed for making Lk2 and Lk3 documents, and related agencies in making arrival and departure reports. This company is engaged in ship agency services from ships to arrive until the ship departs again at each port of Batam island. The purpose of writing this paper is nothing but to find out the process of making Lk2 and Lk3 letters, documents needed in submitting Lk2 and Lk3, and related agencies in making Lk2 and Lk3 letters. Based on data collection carried out during carrying out land practices the author uses several methods including observation, interview, and document analysis methods, obtained that the role of Lk2 and Lk3 documents on the clearance process against the martyrdom agency will be smooth if it can establish good communication with the parties concerned so that the creation of lk2 and lk3 documents can work well.
