Abstract
The main discussion in writing this paper is about the role of the Inaportnet system in the clearance activities of PT. Atosim Lampung Pelayaran Semarang Branch. There are a number of background problems that must be solved in this paper, namely how the ship service flow uses Inaportnet, the agencies involved in agency activities, and the documents needed to handle the ship. The company is engaged in inter-island crossing sea freight services using the Ro-ro ship. The purpose of writing this paper is none other than to find out how the role of the Inaportnet system in serving ship clearance activities, the role of relevant agencies in agency activities, and the documents needed to handle ships. Based on data collection carried out during terrestrial practice or (PRADA) the author uses several methods including observation, interview, and document analysis methods, the results show that the role of the Inaportnet system in the clearance service of the vessel will run smoothly if the company staff members enter the data to the system is more accurate so that there is no error entering data.
