Abstract

Indonesia is a country known as a maritime country with a large part of its territory consisting of waters and consisting of islands. Therefore sea transportation is very important to connect islands scattered throughout Indonesia. In this case shipping companies, ferry boats are needed in order to build sea transportasion capital facilities. Passenger ship service activities play an important role in access to public transportation between adjacenct islands and bringing together large islands at once. The purpose of the observations made by the author is to find out the sarvices of passengger ships managed by PT.ASDP Indonesia Ferry. The results obtained from the observations that the author did was procedures for passenger ship services managed by PT.ASDP Indonesia Ferry. Outline the procedure for handling passenger ships from the start before the arrival of the ship, ships arriving and departing ships as well as arranging document in accordance with the procedure so as not to impede vessel service.
