Abstract
This paper is used to find out how the role of EMKL companies in the process of completing export documents, given that the EMKL company acts as a liaison between the parties involved in export activities. To achieve the objectives of the problems contained in the study include what documents are used in handling exports, related agencies in the settlement of export documents, how the process of completing Export documents, what costs arise in export activities and what obstacles are faced in the process of completing export documents. Based on data collection carried out during terrestrial practice (PRADA) the author used several methods including observation, interview and document analysis methods. The results of the study concluded that in export activities, EMKL had an active role starting from selecting containers that matched goods until the container was brought to the port and handed over to the shipping party until the goods arrive in the destination country. In addition, the documents needed in export activities are also complex starting from the beginning until the end of the export process. Keywords: Export documents, Container, EMKL.
