Abstract
Indonesia is a country that is known as a maritime country that most of its area is made up of waters and Islands. Therefore, the means of maritime transport is very important to connect the islands scattered throughout Indonesia. The ship was the appliance connecting the sea to transport each island must take care of Clearance and Clearance out while leaning in the dock. The purpose of the author's observations is to know the services and procedures of Clearance and Clearance out of the ship. The cornerstone of the theory used by the authors in this observation in the form of books, internet, legislation, ministerial regulation, and other sources. The results obtained from the observation that the writers do is handling Clearance ins and Clearance out of the ship conducted at Tanjung Intan cilacap. Starting from the document required when handling Clearance ins and Clearance out of the ship as well as the relevant agencies at the time of the activities of in the port and the creation of reports after the ship departs.
