Abstract
Indonesia is a country known as a maritime country with a large part of its territory consisting of waters and consisting of islands. Therefore sea transportation is very important to connect islands scattered throughout Indonesia. The head is from one port to another port, so the shipping company must take care of the ship that is operated when at the port that he stops. The activity takes care of all the ship's needs starting from the arrival of the ship, while at the port until the time of departure. The purpose of the observations carried out by the author was to determine the handling services of ship arrivals and departures carried out by the Class II Office of the Traffic and Authority Authority of Cilacap. The results obtained from the observations that the author did were the service of arrival and departure of ships carried out by the Class II Office of Port Authority and Port Authority Cilacap. Broadly speaking, the system and procedures for handling passenger arrivals and departures begin before the ship arrives, when the ship arrives (Clearance in) starting from the preparation until the implementation, before the ship departs (Clearance out) starting from preparation to implementation, when the ship departs, making report after the ship departs, and documents needed when handling the arrival and departure of the ship and related agencies during activities at the port.
