Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of Facility Utilization, Truck Transportation Volume, and Operational Time on Bulk Cargo Loading and Unloading Effectiveness at PT. Citra Jateng Stevedoring, Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang. Loading and unloading effectiveness is an important factor in supporting port operational efficiency. This research employed a quantitative method with a survey approach. Data were collected through questionnaires from 90 respondents involved in the activities. The data were analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, and coefficient of determination analysis using SPSS. The results produced the regression equation Y = 3.966 + 0.332X1 + 0.214X2 + 0.528X3 + µ. Partially, Facility Utilization, Truck Transportation Volume, and Operational Time have positive and significant effects on Bulk Cargo Loading and Unloading Effectiveness, with each calculated t-value exceeding the critical t-table value. The coefficient of determination test resulted in an Adjusted R Square value of 0.598, indicating that 59.8% of effectiveness variation can be explained by the three independent variables, while 40.2% is influenced by other factors . Operational Time has the most dominant influence on loading and unloading effectiveness. Therefore, the company is encouraged to improve facilities, regulate truck transportation volume, and strengthen operational coordination to achieve sustainable improvements in loading and unloading effectiveness and support optimal operational targets effectively.
