Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of independent variables namely document completeness, transportation facilities, and service quality on the dependent variable, which is the smooth execution of the import process handled by the Surabaya branch of EMKL PT. Berlian Transtar Abadi. The study involved a sample of 100 respondents selected using a non-probability sampling method, specifically the saturated sampling technique. A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through the distribution of questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the aid of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 27. Based on the research results and data analysis, the regression equation is as follows: Y = 0,733 + 0,333X1 + 0,203X2 + 0,385X3 + µ The regression results indicate that Service Quality is the most dominant variable influencing the smoothness of the import process, with a regression coefficient of 0.385. The Adjusted R-Square value of 0.561 reveals that 56.1% of the variation in the dependent variable the smoothness of the import process can be explained by the independent variables: document completeness, transportation facilities, and service quality. The remaining 43.9% is attributed to factors outside the scope of the variables studied. The study concludes that the independent variables document completeness (X1), transportation facilities (X2), and service quality (X3) have a positive and significant effect on the smoothness of the import process (Y) managed by the Surabaya branch of EMKL PT. Berlian Transtar Abadi. Keywords: Document Completeness, Transportation Facilities, Service Quality, Smoothness of the Import Process.
