Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the independent variables, namely Loading and Unloading Equipment Productivity, Ship Characteristics, and Cargo Volume, on the dependent variable, namely Ship Turnaround Time at PT. Krakatau Jasa Samudera at Krakatau International Port. The sample in this study consisted of 100 respondents involved in operational and loading and unloading activities. This study used a quantitative approach with data collection conducted through questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 25. Based on the results of the research and data analysis, the regression equation is as follows: Y = 1,294 + 0.288X1 + 0.203X2 + 0.311X3 + µ The regression results indicate that the variable with the most dominant effect on Ship Turnaround Time is Cargo Volume (X3), with a regression coefficient of 0.311. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.801 indicates that 80.1% of the variation in Ship Turnaround Time can be explained by the independent variables of Loading and Unloading Equipment Productivity, Ship Characteristics, and Cargo Volume, while the remaining 19.9% is explained by other factors outside the variables examined. The results show that Loading and Unloading Equipment Productivity (X1) has a positive and significant effect on Ship Turnaround Time (Y), Ship Characteristics (X2) have a positive but insignificant effect on Ship Turnaround Time (Y), while Cargo Volume (X3) has a positive and significant effect on Ship Turnaround Time (Y). Simultaneously, Loading and Unloading Equipment Productivity, Ship Characteristics, and Cargo Volume have a significant effect on Ship Turnaround Time.
