Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived ease of use, trust, perceived security, and perceived usefulness on users' intention to use e-money in Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Trans Semarang Corridor I. The study is motivated by the increasing implementation of cashless payment systems in public transportation services, which requires a better understanding of the factors influencing public interest in using electronic money. This research employed a quantitative approach using questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents who were users of BRT Trans Semarang Corridor I. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 25. The data analysis included validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results indicate that perceived ease of use, trust, perceived security, and perceived usefulness have positive and significant effects, both partially and simultaneously, on users' intention to use e-money in BRT Trans Semarang. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.508 indicates that 50.8% of the variation in users' intention to use e-money can be explained by the four independent variables included in this study, while the remaining 49.2% is explained by other factors outside the research model. The findings are expected to provide valuable input for the management of BRT Trans Semarang and digital payment service providers in improving service quality, system security, ease of use, and the perceived benefits of e-money, thereby encouraging greater adoption of cashless payment systems. Keywords: Perceived Ease of Use, Trust, Perceived Security, Perceived Usefulness, User Intention, E-Money, BRT Trans Semarang.
