Abstract
The smoothness of the export process is a main pillar for freight forwarding and logistics companies to maintain client trust and competitiveness in the international market. PT. Cahaya Lautan Maju, operating in the Tanjung Emas Port area of Semarang, often faces operational, bureaucratic, and port infrastructure challenges that potentially disrupt the flow of export goods distribution. This study uses a quantitative approach. Primary data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 85 respondents, validated by field observations and in-depth interviews with related parties. Secondary data were obtained through literature review and company operational documentation. The data analysis method used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis processed using statistical software. The multiple linear regression analysis yielded the equation Y = 2.166 + 0.335X1 + 0.151X2 + 0.328X3 + Miu. The hypothesis testing with a 5% (0.05) significance level shows that all independent variables have a positive and significant effect on export smoothness. Partially, the Export Document Completeness variable (X1) has a positive and significant effect on export smoothness, where t_{count} (3.383) > t_{table} (1.66388). The Delivery Time variable (X2) has a positive and significant effect on export smoothness, where t_{count} (1.989) > t_{table} (1.66388). The Cargo Type variable (X3) also has a positive and significant effect on export smoothness, with t_{count} (2.752) > t_{table} (1.66388). Simultaneously, these results demonstrate that there is a positive and significant influence of Export Document Completeness, Delivery Time, and Cargo Type on the Smoothness of Goods Export. Export document completeness, delivery time, and cargo types are proven to play an important and significant role in ensuring the smoothness of exports at PT. Cahaya Lautan Maju. The company is advised to optimize document management and delivery time accuracy based on cargo characteristics to minimize operational delays.
